Step 1: Attend a Local Meeting
When you reach out, we’ll arrange an in-person meeting for you to meet with one of our Regional Vice Presidents, who can answer any questions you might have about opening a coworking space. This allows the perfect time to get to know one another and for you to learn more about the Office Evolution franchise opportunity from the individual who will guide you every step of the way.
Step 2: Complete Personal Profile
We’ll ask you to complete a simple personal profile to learn more about you. We want you to be successful when it comes to understanding how to start a coworking space business, so knowing more about you, your experience, questions and concerns, financial capabilities, and more is especially helpful.
Step 3: Review Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)
We’ll send you our FDD and ask that you take the time to review it. The FDD is an important document that provides vast insight into a given franchise business and, in this case, your way to learn more about Office Evolution, what you’re entitled to as a franchisee, and what we’ll expect from you in return.
Step 4: Attend Discovery Day
After we review your profile, we may offer you an invitation to visit our World Headquarters in West Palm Beach, FL, and meet our Executive Team. You’ll get a feel for our culture and policies, as well as tour a few existing Office Evolution locations with the option to do so virtually.
Step 5: Make a Refundable Deposit
Once you’ve read through the FDD and decide you agree to the terms, you’ll sign your franchise agreement and put down a refundable $9,500 deposit.
Step 6: Gain Financial Approval
Our in-house finance team will walk you through all your financing options. While we don’t offer in-house financing, our team can assist you with finding financing from a third-party lender.
The location of your coworking space is critical to its success. Our real estate team will guide you through the market and site selection process to find a prime location for your facility.
As part of your coworking space business plan, we’ll provide you with a development budget, financing, and franchise approval.
Step 9: Sign Franchise Agreement
All that’s left is to sign your franchise agreement and pay the remaining fees owed. Congratulations, you’re an Office Evolution franchise owner!
